Congressman David N. Cicilline (D-RI) will host a roundtable discussion Thursday, August 21st at 2:00 p.m. on the rising cost of higher education with Rhode Island College President Nancy Carriuolo, college students and their families at Rhode Island College in Providence.

During the roundtable, Cicilline will discuss the Democratic economic agenda called the “Middle Class Jumpstart” and highlight parts of the plan that will expand access to affordable education by enacting the Bank on Students Emergency Loan Refinancing Act, expanding access to Pell grants, and increasing access to early childhood learning.
